Elden Ring is an action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, released in February 2022. The most ambitious game come together in a perfect crescendo of difficulty, creativity, story, lore all pushing their own boundaries to epic proportions. One of my favorite games of all time.

Another hit from fromsoft. This game kept me hooked for months. The only times I wanted to put the controller down was after insane boss fights or unlucky circumstances carrying a lot of runes (souls). I will play this again an again. Melania gets this game a sixth star in difficulty. The only thing I wish it had was better availabilty and options to experiment with upgraded weapons, but that's a general souls gripe.

This game has absolutely everything! It is extremely difficult which makes completing it even more rewarding. The story is filled with religious lore and obscure concepts. The game design is beautifully rendered with an expansive architectural world full of mysteries and rewards. The difficulty is BRUTAL but the games allows you to develop your skills around this and gives you plenty of tools to master the challenge. The design of every single character is detailed and woven very deeply into the lore. It was by far one of my all time favoite games of all time.
